Come one, come all... here is an opportunity to get feedback on a script you are writing or a program you have produced.  Upload your script to this site in the Files & Media section titled Feedback Call or upload your audio file to Audioport.  RSVP, and if you like, leave a comment with the kind of feedback you are looking for.  Everyone is welcome on the call.  Let's help our fellow radio producers and build the community.

End Time: 08:30 PM EST

"See" you on the call

August 26, 12PM EST

Hello all-- Important update: I need anyone planning to attend tonight's story planning (script editing) workshop to check in with me by phone (718) 857-2394 or email (

I'd like to confirm that people have (Summer call-in) scripts that they'd like to edited -- or for last week's group, to share their revisions. If we're not at this stage we should forego the call tonight and work individually to finish our script revisions. Also fyi, Christine is out of town and will not be on the call tonight.

The Summer Show

Summer is ending(!) and we need to set some deadlines to wrap the show up. Here's my proposal:

  1. Tue, Aug 26 - Post script revisions
  2. Thu, Aug 28 - Final comments for script revisions due. Cathy or Ellen, please post/transcribe your script if possible.
  3. Tue, Sept 2 - Meet on the call to split up the remaining tasks. We should shoot for a tentative Sprouts release date of Wed, Sep 17. This would mean reviewing the assembled, mixed-down show Tues, Sept 16 on the call. A checklist of things to happen before then:
  • each contributor records their revised Summer ("call-in") report and uploads to Audioport (128kb mono mp3, talk to me for Audioport login). If you can't record it yourself, make arrangement to call in to Christine/Doug
  • 1-2 people assemble the Summer reports into a package, complete with narrative segues and background music as needed.
  • 1 person assembles the vox-pop package - I volunteer to do this and finish it by Sept 8
  • Christine finishes Summer Vegetables segment and uploads -- or alternatively, we find summer-themed music we permission to use as filler
  • Doug writes draft of Sprouts narration and reviews with group Sept 9
  • Doug/volunteer records Sprouts narration
  • Doug/Christine mix/assemble show and upload for final group review
